Our Mission

APOTBC's mission is to Reduce Infant Mortality Through Improved Maternity Health In Africa.

APOTBC's programs are holistic and participatory, combining research, education and community organization to develop grass roots strategies promoting rural livelihood and healthcare. Our approach has, over the years, proved effective because it addresses the fundamental needs of the people.

Medical Treatment

Healthcare for women, children and newborns is a serious concern in Ghana and remains one of our priorities. Women in rural areas die from preventable complications during pregnancy and delivery, and neonatal care is unavailable in many areas.

Pure Drinking Water

We collaborate with Senior High Schools to purchase water treatment plants. We treat impure water from boreholes making it clean and portable for students to drink.
